Salvetti Farming Co.

Grown in the pristine farmland of the Atherton Tablelands in North Queensland, west of Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef. The Salvetti family have been farming the land for over 80 years. Catering for the Australian domestic and international markets, they specialise in grass seed and legumes.


Always searching for new cropping opportunities, the Salvetti family decided to try their hand at producing Chia after getting a few inquiries from potential clients. Australian Superfoods NQ (ASF) Chia is grown under a HACCP accreditation programme ensuring food safety is of the utmost importance.

The implantation of a clean, green eco-friendly sustainable farming system ensures healthy food is provided to the Australian and Export markets.

ASF is very proud to be supplying Australia product to its customers. Every crop of Chia is fully tested to meet all food safety requirements and is analysed in a Government Laboratory to ensure the product is microbial and chemical residue free.

ASF not only grows the chia but they also grade, pack and store the Chia.


Once packed the chia is transferred into a climate controlled room, to ensure freshness, high quality and a 36month lifespan from date of production.

ASF is committed and passionate about bringing healthy Australian Chia Seeds straight from the farm gate to the consumer’s plate.
